Visiting Teaching Kit

Visiting Teaching Kitby Kellie Lyon / ga03132006

Our kit had was in a plastic gift bag tied with purple raffia and there was a purple paper with the following typed on it:

By Love Serve One Another     Galatians 5:13

Rubber Band: To remind you to hug others We are all united through Jesus Christ.

Tissue: To remind you to dry their tears, when they are sad or struggling.

Button:  To remind you to "button your lips" against gossip, backbiting, or talking when inappropriate.

Toothpick: To remind you to pick out the good qualities in everyone.

Band Aid: To remind you to heal any hurt feelings.

Candy: To remind you that everyone needs your sweetness.

Eraser: To remind you that everyone makes mistakes and that there is forgiveness for everyone

Lifesaver: To remind you to think of Jesus Christ as your "lifesaver". Whenever you need to talk, He will listen.

Mask: Mask any negative feelings, and have a positive, uplifting visit.

Mint: To remind you that you are "mint" to be there for your sisters. As we fellowship one another, we value one another in Christ.

There was one of each item in the kit, the mask was a medical mask that you use when going into a hospital room and the tissue was actually a whole pack of the small Kleenex.  Everything else is pretty self explanatory.
